Our tooth whitening treatment is a very effective method of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface.
Your dentist will first assess your suitability for tooth whitening and then discuss your preferences. This will determine the type of tooth whitening gel used.
Next, your dentist will take moulds of your mouth or send you to our treatment coordinator for a 3d scan.
Your moulds or 3d scan will be sent to a dental laboratory, where they will craft your personalised tooth whitening trays.
At your next appointment, your dentist will ensure your tooth whitening trays are a comfortable fit and explain how to safely use your whitening gel.
Tooth whitening is not suitable for patients under 18 years of age.
Although it is a safe method for whitening your teeth, because of the chemicals used, the General Dental Council (GDC) has advised that tooth whitening treatment should only be carried out by a registered dental professional, which is exactly what we are at Crystal Dental Clinic.
